Swil Kanim (aka Richard Marshall) is a virtuoso violinist and storyteller mingling Native American roots with the laughter and lowness of Western Civilization. He regularly appeared in CBS's Northern Exposure, starred in Sherman Alexie's critically acclaimed The Business of Fancy Dancing and had four sold out shows at Smithsonian's Museum of the American Indian. Featured on NPR's Earth on the Air, Marshall has performed with Classical Guitarist Andre Feriante and Cellist Paulo Cesar and collaborated with Pianist David Lanz and Flutist Gary Stroutsos. The Classic Award Winning musician has two CD's and recently performed for His Holiness the Dalai Lama for The Seeds of Compassion event.
