Just play less pedal, it will be even better. :)
I play this too, very similarly, just without the excessive pedal.

Actually the 12 etudes de execution transcendante are based on twelve earlier etudes, including this one. Quite logical you recognise nr 2 in this etude, since it was based on this piece!

I really don't like it . You need more traning... I'm plaing it better after two weks. Sory, for no record, I don't want do it, because I want practise it yet.
