@BXM4C There's something that many people do not realize. Intervale Avenue is very high up compared to Simpson Street, due to the street going down hill.

@sovetskii52 Reminds me of Simpson Street and Intervale Ave on the White Plains Road line. When Intervale was closed because of a fire some years ago, people were complaining about having to walk to Simpson Street and those two stations are very close to one another.

@chrisgoesplat22 want to know something intresting, Boston has the first Sub way in the country

@sovetskii52 I can definitely see it in this video - it looks like the inter-station distance is just barely one train's length apart? That's just too close.

Did you know that the New York City subway system is the only subway system in the United States to be equipped with express tracks? No other subway system anywhere in the United States has them. Just thought you nice people might find that bit of information quite interesting.

@ wowomgstudio: they are doing planned work on the 6 line. I was there 4 weeks ago

wow, a lot has changed since 2007, anyone care to give me an update?

Wow cool!! Do they let you railfan on subway platforms?
The IRT Pelham Line was not planned very well because look at how close the stations are. Campsports3 is totally right. Pass 2 or even 3 stations in under a minute. By the way, look at the view.
