1. Ask a question: What is the origin of life?

2. Do background research

3. Construct hypothesis: All organisms evolved from a common ancestor

4. Experimentation & Observation: How do you do that for b/millions of years?

5. Analyze results and draw a conclusion

And after many successful attempts, and not one fail. It may become Scientific law, or fact.
