www.imagesasiamedia.com : In Burmese the word for refugee is dukkha, which translates as the one who lives with suffering. This documentary examines the plight of an estimated over 100,000 people who have fled their homes and villages in Burma to live as stateless people inside Thailand as well as being displaced within their homeland. The civil war that has raged for more than 50 years between the Burmese military and ethnic groups such as the Karen, Karenni, and Shan, has forced them to relocate time to time, again and again.
