Tail of the Dragon

I mounted my camera on the back of Derrick's motorcycle while we rode the Tail of the Dragon , Hwy 129, Tennessee, 316 curves in 11 miles ( edit, my mistake. They claim it's actually 318 curves). This is just a few minutes of the ride. We saw two other bikes that had crashed here the day before.
We continued on that day across the Cherohala Skyway. Amazing ride. Check out the Hard Ride motorcycle blog for more pictures and stories

@lovin2wheels Thanks. I was really nervous about doing it because of the hype, which is mostly perpetuated by the websites which are run by those who have an interest in promoting it ( The Resort at Deal's Gap, for instance) but it wasn't that bad ( although we did see a couple of crashed bikes.). They say just keep it in second gear and only use the rear brake and you will be fine, so that it what I did. The video doesn't do justice to how tight the curves are.
