Just wanted to let everyone know that after about a week this WILL TEAR YOUR CORD. Right after the white reinforcing bit of the cord that comes out of the connector, it will just tear almost completely off. This includes the white casing and the shielding/grounding metal interwoven sheath that covers the actual wires. I just have a cord with the internal wires completely exposed and bent to the side now. Doubt the video author wants you to know this though.

@themitch117 maybe you did it wrong. I have 2, one at home and one at work. no problems for over a year. then again, i'm very careful with my toys hehe.

for those asking about if the cables get ruined. I have 2 made, one at my desk at work, and one at home created when this video was made and both work fine still. No cable issues.
