I have a question about the demon flip you did after that low fierce AA. How viable is that as a mixup in your opinion?

It's fantastic. If I do the palm instead of dive kick it's extremely hard to punish and sometimes the divekick beats out DP's if it gets them in the sweet spot.

Cool. Time to hit that training room then. I never thought of doing that as a mixup after AA.

Don't get me wrong, fierce DP is always a better option. More damage and a knockdown. However for those times when you aren't DP ready, this option is really good. The anti air reset into palm is 100% safe from DP's I believe. So if you are fighting a DP happy foe it's a great way to bait.
Against non DP's, they just have to take the mix up.
It can also be used to push your opponent into the corner as you body will alter their descent from the reset pushing them further back.

lol King of Winnipeg wins again. Although you didn't need to...I think you should dominate more with Akuma's walk speed, and sweep on Ryu/low forward and others on Sagat. Careful with your focus usage as well. Your utility game is one of the best though, I like your use of specials and setups.

Thanks for the kind words.
I was testing the focus into backdash. For Akuma a forward dash after focus is all risk, especially against DP spam. So I'm testing out the backdash.
Thus far Akuma gets good damage off the backdash focus hit with a fierce DP and it still sets up a demon. Plus it's basically safe on block.
