Ville is a low baritone. It's nearly a bass.... maybe smoking affects to his voice, maybe not. But without asthma it must be even better ;)

@Iscaria I do not know what is wrong with your ears but... As much as I love Ville's voice many of the old videos really do not show Ville at his best. It often irked me because from the albums you can hear how he performs when focused. This performance blew me away. This is probably the single best live performance from Ville I have ever seen. There is nothing wrong with his voice. It is not ruined. In fact it's probably the best it has been. Each to his own I suppose but wow you are so wrong.
