130+ MORE examples of Fox News Bias at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=A3BD2524FE99BD4D

When President Barack Obama held a news conference last Friday, the coverage from Fox News contributor Karl Rove and Fox News anchors Martha MacCallum and Brett Baier heavily spun the numbers on the expiring Bush tax cuts for the rich to exaggerate their impact on "small businesses" as I show in this video.

The clip I use of President Obama's September 10, 2010, press conference comes from the public domain video on the whitehouse's YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvwB0guyuNk

The clips I use of Karl Rove and Martha MacCallum come from a segment on the Fox News program "America's Newsroom" broadcast September 10, 2010 (which I have not found online)

The clip I use of Bret Baier comes from a segment on the Fox News program "Happening Now" broadcast September 10, 2010 (which I have not found online)

The images I use of my August 2010 video titled "Worst Fox News Poll Spin Promoting Bush Tax Cuts for the Rich?" comes from my own YouTube video player page at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkJiJs_WBXM

The image I use of the chart titled "Distribution of Business Income by Statutory Marginal Tax Rate, 2011 Baseline: Current Policy Plus Administration's Upper-Income Tax Proposals" comes from the Tax Policy Center page at http://www.taxpolicycenter.org/numbers/displayatab.cfm?Docid=2783&DocType...

And, finally, the image I use of Derek Thompson's blog entry titled "The Facts About Small Business and the Bush Tax Cut" comes from The Atlantic page at http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2010/08/the-facts-about-small-bus...

  • I am in the 2% and I did not think my tax break should continue. I happily pay for the services that my country provides. Right now my country needs the funds. I have felt a bit icky during the Bush years with how much taxes I do not have to pay, its quite significant.

  • The only thing that is going to save Obamas legacy is if he wins the 2012 general, Grows a pair, and TAXES THE LIVING BAJESUS OUT OF THE RICH!!!

  • More dumb people: Everyone in the media.

  • Republicans ask wwjd. Those that have more are expected more from

If you love me give your money to the poor and follow me.

    GOP the Atheist party :)

  • @ingosnow25 Actually it's the "20/80" principle; 20% of the world's population controls 80% of the world's wealth. Consequently, that 20% will obviously have to pay more tax; those people that can afford to lose a bit of money due to taxes should, if it's going to help out the rest of your country.

One last thing, isn't it morally wrong to have less tax (as a percentage of your income) if you're on a 7 or 8 digit salary than a person struggling to get $40k a year and put food on the table?

  • @CreeperDownTheStreet I'm not exactly sure what that has to do with the rich paying 75% of Americas taxes

  • @JeppeESR When did I say it was?

  • @golden454 i like u failed u math 100%-97% is not 2% :-)

  • @Tsugua21 Is there any particular reason not to?

  • I'm sure the 2.5% can afford to pony up some more dough. no one needs to live so glamorously.

  • I like this guy.

  • Do you guys know 25% of the population pays 75% of the taxes?!??!? WE ALL SHOULD BE KISSING THE RICHS' ASS' NOT COMPLAINING
