Slap Bass Improv. 1.5 (Bass N' Drums)

Hey guys, i recorded another video of this groove a while back, but the quality sucked... Here's a much better version, WITH a drum machine. : ) -Cody

The bass is an Essex Jazz Bass modded with Gotoh 201 bridge, GFS pups and Audere control plate pre-amp. The body has also been refinished, and the ash trays removed.

I've been thinking about buying an SX bass, and upgrading the pickups to GFS pickups too. Was there a big difference between the stock pickups and the GFS ones?

Great improv! I've been trying to improve my slap bass for a good while now. I noticed you were using a SX bass. I have a couple of their products and I have to say I'm a fan. I own a 5 string jazz fretless ( not very good for this Style but the feel is beautiful ) but I'm looking into getting something along precision style. Got any suggestions?
