This is the sequel to the "Bryan Lee Signature" soundset sold at ReFX (the developer of Nexus, Vanguard, etc), which I put together for them over 3 years ago. This new bank contains 100 patches, including wacky basses, leads, sound effects, plus drum sounds, all infused with the quirky, memorable character of the Commodore 64 MOS-SID chip.

@SquareWaveHeaven Thanks man :). Glad someone picked up on that haha. QuadraSID is one of the best synths out there for making your own SID type drums and sound effects. The key is using both the wavetable function and the multipoint envelopes.

Nice demo!

I've listened to a lot of SID music output on a real 6581 and I own a Sidstation and for some reason QuadraSID just doesn't sound like a real C64 to me – the sound isn't raw and dirty enough.

That said, Chipsounds doesn't fully capture the sound either. I wish they were closer, because sampling the Sidstation is a real pain in the ass and it cost a heck of a lot more than both of those plugins put together.

The quest for the perfect, convenient C64 sound continues.

I hate how unless you use the same DAW you can't load other presets into razor! I'd love to see some of your stuff... :)
