  • hahaha I would hate for them to have looked after balanced image he had to have a special stall with glass as bars because he would try to get from his stall. Most race horse studs are like that.Y? I don't know it's almost like they know they're good and deserve special treatment compared to other horses.

  • I saw John Henry about 8 years ago. They had a few horses and paraded them out one afternoon.I really wanted to see the grave of Secretariat but you must make reservations ahead of time and we didn't have the time to go to Paris,Ky.

  • u are so lucky, I went when his teeth where getting floated. I wanted to see him again! I'm going on saterday and was going just to see him!

  • John Henery Died on Oct8 2007.

  • A public memorial service for John Henry will be held Friday, Oct. 19 at 2 p.m. at the Kentucky Horse Park.

  • We sometimes don't understand the importance of small actions until later. Cindy Rullman, director of marketing at the Kentucky Horse Park, contacted The Horse magazine in early August to tell us about John Henry and his walks around the park. (see TheHorse com article 10563 for more pictures and a compelling article on his death)

  • RIP John Henry, we'll miss you.
