@neilkayton - We agree with you! The Boxster is an awesome car and genuinely affordable if you shop used. The 911 is great, and the icon, but the Boxster's balance is fantastic and superior to the 911 because of engine placement. Thanks for commenting and we hope you'll stick around and watch more of our work!

@jacksonholer You are so annoying.. and sensitive. grow up. And stop posting bullshit all the time and wasting my time. If 30 people agree with a comment one looser has to say the opposite just to be different. typical

@neilkayton Yup, read it many times & am still insulted by the fact you just insulted 90+ percent of the population who finances their vehicles. Have you ever bought a house. If you paid cash congratulations. 90+% of the population finances (whether its a house or a car). You are still a fucking tool. My comments still stand.

@JordsterMovies I meant "quick" as in not "fast" ... I left that part out. I've driven much faster cars since, but absolutely nothing with the same level of driving feel (both handling, and the feel of the materials). Now I just need $80k to buy one nicely loaded in Canada ... :P

Way back, my dad bought a new '99 Boxster. It had all of 204 HP (or was it 201?) and was quick w/ a 6.1 sec 0-60. This was just a year after I got my license, and the first decent stick shift I ever drove (only one before that was a Hyundai Excel in driver's ed). I remember the feel, the smell, the sound of the engine... When he let me take it out I basically never turned on music... Just listened to that boxer engine sing. One of my goals in life is buy one of my own when I can responsibly...
which is better and why
boxster or z4

@SuperDesi45 - The boxster is better balanced and a bit more instinctual (meaning it feels like a part of the driver). The Z4 has more of a classic roadster - long front with the driver at the back - feel and takes a bit more thought to drive fast.
Both are fun cars, no doubt. We recommend you go test drive them both as we suspect one of them will speak to you right away. Thanks or watching and commenting!

would you recommend a used boxter or a brand new BMW 128i at about $35,000?
fallout3geek 6 months ago
@fallout3geek - We would say Boxster, as it will be far more fun to drive. The Boxster is an incredible handling package with an awesome manual transmission. The BMW will handle well also, but has more body roll and less precision than the Boxster. But, if you need the utility of backseats then the BMW is going to win. We'd definitely say get the 135i over the 128i, even if you have to go used - the engine/power is much more rewarding.
