Our motives are very simple. The Constitution says if the states apply Congress must call a convention. The states have applied. Congress refuses to obey the Constitution. We want the government to obey the Constitution because the consequences of it not doing so far outweigh the unproven "dangers" an AVC proses. The states have presented many good ideas to change this nation for the better. They deserve the forum intended that they be considered and acted on as prescribed by the Constitution.

( In fact, they have been helpful for me to learn more and investigate on this issue )
Now to get to the point, I am really questioning the motives behind anyone who want's to set such a process in motion.
