Here we see Chinese Built Susquehanna Mikado 142 departing the picturesque little station in Phillipsburg, NJ. This has to be one of my new favorite steam engines. On this day the little steamer had a great sounding SP 6 chime whistle. This engine has some great stack talk and the ride is just beautiful. I highly Recomend it. Even though i was there only a short time i really enjoyed myself. My hats off to the wonderful volenteers who make this operation possible!

  • Sounds like a Southern Pacific 6 chime whistle. I like the Reading 6 chime too, but this one has a real bark to it!

  • Chinese locomotive always have stack talk when departing, there very clanky when running too!
