Terra sig and wax ;) I bisque to cone 018 before going in the barrel. The barrel firings are fun.

Interesting vids. Liked the barrel fired pots a lot. Don't know if you've noticed, on your first video you've repeated the first few minutes!

Anyway, it's great to see you going through the learning process.

I must pick up a barrel!

Thanks for showing your Raku saga. Very interesting. I've done 3 or 4 raku firings at a local arts center, but never solo.

I've also done a few pit firings with mixed results: some pieces turn out great, some so-so, some bad, and some break.

I like the finish on your pit-fired pieces. It looks much shinier than just terra sig and wax. What did you use as a finish?
