I just looked this professor up. Aparently he is a big proponent of dowsing, but refused to take James Randi up on his Million Dollar Challenge and prove it is real.

I am generally a global warming skeptic, but this guy lost me when he said that increased evaporation has locally dropped the sea level at the Maldives. Evaporation is a slow process and the ocean will quickly just fill back and maintain the same level. Maybe I just didn't get what he was trying to say, but it makes me question his credibility.
