Then obviously you haven't heard the samples off of Tateryche's "FU" disc... LOL. They are actually quite laughably bad, featuring what sounds like canned drums and guitar, flat production, completely uninteresting and boring songwriting, etc. What Todd brings to the real Queensryche is a return to form and then some. A style that can only be best described as "modern classic". I dig it. Not deeply involved with either process, just a fan who knows what he likes, and what sucks... haha.

Now I just found out that Jimbo Barton is producing QR...I have waited for this since Promised Land! Jimbo is the one person who KNOWS how to record Queensryche! The last producers...ahem...no! Jimbo lets you hear the best of everyone, I have so badly missed Ed's massive BASS! And Scott is so complex andJimbo knows to put him everywhere! Of course Wilton's guitars will be wicked precise. We will definitely get a killer introduction to Todd and Parker, I am counting the days now, oh yeah!

The new singer sounds similar to Tate, no kidding, good choice for a replacement, but I guess there is another Queensryche that should have been called Geoff Tate's Band or so I think.
