@belegulo You seem to know an awful lot about god and yet very few theologians ever agree on these issues but you KNOW what the god of the universe wants is that despite his son or himself in human form (depending on interpretation) Came to earth and said not a jot or tittle of the old laws will change till heaven and earth pass but you know better then that. Thing is these things were never moral so for a god to say to any culture to do these things is ridiculous and to claim he never said them

The Bible was written by 40 persons. The word of God is in the Bible but not the whole Bible is the word of God. Any theologician knowd that. In fact, most of it ishuman and cultural laws that doesn't apply today  but are useful to understand anything else.

God's laws is this: Put God over anything and love other as yourself.

@belegulo The difference is science doesn't come with instructions on who to kill or what to do and what are the consequences if you don't do what the eternal dictator says. Science is dangerous only if the people doing it have intent for it to be dangerous and as infallible humans that's our fault, The bible for example says Go kill homosexuals they are abominations.

Thats a fact, but its incomplete. Every idea can be dangerous. In fact, science can be dangerous (atomic bombs); so, as we have to have responsability for use science for good, in the same way we can use philosophical ideas and religions for good as well.

@belegulo Ok, I respect ur opinion, you dont know but well that's mine, I believe, not by faith, just with logical thinking that Hell's idea is to implant fear on minds, cuz I dont believe in hell. About your perspective on religion, I'm with you that for many people is a moral guide, true, my whole family is cristian and are very good people base on what they think, but this doesnt change the fact that religion also is very dangerous, and this is not an opinion, it is a fact!
