http://wattumsua.thaipulse.com - Snake cave at Wat Tum Sua temple in Krabi, Thailand (southern Thailand). Very cool cave and NOT a quiet place to meditate. Someone wrote crazy things on the wall... Thai amulets from this temple at ThaiAmuletSales.com.

  • @KornTwistVid - In this video I wasn't going to make it funny - just sit and watch the breath. When you do that... enough, over time - you slow thought down to the point where you can see thoughts starting. Then, refocus on the breathing... watch the breath go in and out. The mind slows further. Thought stops for brief periods, then for minutes... then for tens of minutes. Jhana comes or some other experience - otherworldly. Probably better than heroin, though I wouldn't know.

  • are you familiar with Ajahn Mun or Ajahn Chah or any of the Dhuntanga Monks? they frequent places like that and reach many different levels of being it's not about quiting the Environment its about quieting your mind many blessings to you and be dilligent on the path and you can meditate anywhere =)

  • Familiar with? No. I've been to 2 of Aj. Chah's temples in Warin Chamrap, Thailand and I know he was one that went for the forest tradition. Recently I came to a place where I can meditate anywhere - with any noise or environment going on. It's weird. I can open 2-10 videos all at once in YouTube keep headphones on and just meditate without the noise affecting me. This is a recent development - last 20 months or so?

  • I wanted the birds and monkeys to be quiet so i could reach nirvana!

  • The pictagragh? part was funny! LOL!

  • thanks! I saw that at the end when I stood up - and yeah, I think it's true. The monkeys and birds there were just off the hook - impossible to meditate in that I would think...

  • Something on the wall, that's u said. It's mean Angel. sir

  • 1:14 it says Angel = เทวดา

  • I think the clue to why this wasn't a good place to meditate was the name of the cave!

  • Wear some longer pants please x.x

  • thats a big leap ini some ways

  • is that like the paya naga cave was????? serpent like snake creature???

  • depends if they are doing it to think or because they are buddhist. buddhists meditate on many things like generating loving kindness towards all beings and learning to not hold hatred. Also we reflect on our actions and ourselves and many other things.

  • I never believed in God but now that u mentioned it, I will become Muslim right away :)

  • Was it the monkeys and birds that bothered you or were you scared a snake was gonna bite your ass?
