The problem is called migration where the fiber fill inside is working its way through the back of the fabric. Although obviously annoying and not the way it should be it is really not a "quality" issue but a matter of fixing the backing to stop the migration. It is fairly unusual especially with micro fiber fabrics as they have a very tight weave. They certainly should have worked with you to get some form of replacement and it seems they did. It really says nothing about their quality overall.

Doesn't anyone realize shit happens? Search ANY FUCKING FURNITURE COMPANY and you'll see they ALL HAVE FUCKING COMPLAINTS. Its the nature of the business apparently. I had a Sony tv that died in 3 months. I guess Sony sucks and EVERYTHING they sell is crap.

it happened to us also to the same couch. The seems separated and we are all tiny and the fabric wrinkled badly. Can't close the recliner at all and mine is 2 months old. It looks like used trash.
