Hi Manja, He sang "American Trilogy",beautifully in rehearsals but before the show was sent out "live" he had a few drinks in the dressing room and wasn't so good & lost out on the majority of audience & viewers votes. P.J. always said it wasn't him in the mask but about 10 years ago he admitted it was. Ron

Hi Manja, The "The Wheeltappers & Shunters Club" was hugely popular on T.V. It was broadcast in July, 1974.Other guests on the show that night were pianist Russ Conway & Eurovision winners Brotherhood of Man.Johnnie thinks he cut "Hold me" from the show but is not sure as it's 34 years ago!One T.V. show I'd love to see is "Opportunity Knocks" from Oct. '77 when P.J was the "Masked Singer" Ron
