biggest weakness in phpbb compared to joomla say and drupal is the simplicity of modding on cms you just drop the mod in the folder check the activate box - DONE!
This is just embarrassing in comparison

Yeah. Having to manually edit text files in order to install/upgrade mods? No thanks. They should learn from add-on systems like the one Drupal has where all you have to do is replace the folder with the new one and then go to the site and click a checkbox.
