Ibdaa Dance Troupe

These young dancers are performing debka (Palestinian folkloric dance) in public for the first time. They are members of Ibdaa Cultural Center (www.Ibdaa194.org) in Dheisheh Refugee Camp, Occupied Palestine. The Middle East Children's Alliance (www.MECAforPeace.org) funds the dance, theater, art, music and sports programs for children at Ibdaa that give children living under occupation the chance to be children. Through these activities children also carry on Palestinian culture and are able to share their history with the international community.
