Kilts became popular inthe Scotish highlands around a fair while back and the lowlands copied them in the interest of Scotish nationalism. They are not from the Celtic high ages.

Where are you getting your information?There was a large number of Welsh into America ,right out of the slate mines into the coal mines. And for your info,two of the signers of the Declaration of Independence was born in Wales. But we do agree on one thing Wales is abeatiful country.
