Wizard of Oz 2011: Hanging Munchkin Found on VHS Tape

This clip is a direct capture from a 1980's VHS tape of the Wizard of Oz bought as part of a video lot from a collector. Unlike the alleged digitally altered DVD version (also screening on this channel) the sequence where Dorothy and the others enter the forest can be seen in its unedited version. Although the image is grainy and suffers from slight jittering you can see in the background what can only be described as a hanging figure.

There have been many attempts to debunk this 'urban myth' but here for the first time is what appears to be evidence to the contrary.

People! This is an edited hoax. I can prove this to you without a doubt watch 'clear proof the hanging munchkin video is fake'. Parts of the bird have been left in this video by the editor. It really is obvious once you've seen it

Actually the original Tin Man got fired because he couldn't handle the weight of the costume and got pissed off and hung himself on the set.

@MetalMilitia28 Actually some geeky b***h edited a few copies of the tape (like this one) to include a silhouette of a midget hanging from a tree. In fact if you look closely you can actually still see the tips of the bird's wings in the video (as @fallentwing shows in his video.) However originally people thought it was a hanging munchkin because of the small TV sizes at that time. On a big screen, it was a bird. In fact, if there were big screens, this s*** wouldn't even exist.

Idk what to think I mean that doesnt look like a bird but the actors didn't see it? They say they didn't notice it until after the release but no one noticed the dead body on the set the whole rest of the time they were filming

@SoulidiumHollow None taken :) Nah, debates over, it is so obviously edited when you see disembodied parts of the bird appearing. It's now just a case of showing that to people.
