I'm doing an acoustic version of Shine On You Crazy Diamond, and I want to create the similar sustain that Gilmour achieves with this pedal (the one that looks like the Wah pedal), and I figured that Time stretching is the best way forward. However, after following these instructions, it doesn't work. Instead a weird buzz about a semitone higher comes in and comlpetely ruins the track. Help! Also, is there another way of overcoming this problem? Thanks! youtube.com/watch?v=xPL3O7Nmgp

When I right click and go to process I don't see the timestretch option. How else can I timestretch?
Will this work for complete tracks aswell? I want to add some more drums to a certain song, can I use this method for this aswell?

What do you want to do, sync up an audio file to your midi clock? No, this time stretch method would not be ideal. Something like 'Ableton Live' is better suited for something like that. Of course once you've synced the song in Live, you can always export it for use in Cubase. (or just run Cubase/Live together via rewire)
