first of all, crown victorias are typically driven by old people, taxi drivers, and cops; none of which gives a shit about engine rpm. that's a marketing technique.
and second, the 2010 V6 mustang did not have the same engine for the last 16 years. the 94-04's use a pushrod 3.8L, and the 05-'10's use a sohc 4.0L. i would hardly call that the same engine.
