Thank you for the instant reply. Probably temperature will also be low. Is it colder than Japan, since it is quite north? But the wonderful place is heard. The son is also likely to put into University of Washington.

@rokkame I used to live in Japan (at Yokosuka) when I was in the US Navy. It is colder here in Washington but it's only for about two months, December & January. It is a wonderful and beautiful place though. The spring and summers are very mild. The UW is a great place to study. I hope he can attend!

It begins. I am a Japanese. A son is in Lakewood by studying abroad now. Although he had heard that it was colder than Japan, he is surprised at uncanny snow. It seems that he has said school by car. Please take care.

I hope it doesn't snow again this year like it did last year. I got hit by a driver going too fast and luckily no one was hurt.
