nice fluid simulation.
to be honest you cant really see how yafaray blends in here. Take into consideration that yafaray uses higher values for lamps. so setting a lamp to 1 will work great in blender internal but will come out dark in yafaray.
also, try "using caustics" in the render window. you will get a more "pool"-like feel.

You should try setting the power of your lights to around 5, would solve your light problem! :) Nice bake though.
