Shut up people, those snakes don't belong in South Florida, Snakes big enough to eat peoples children, if you want to blame anyone, blame the idiots that let the snakes loose in the area.

My sister used to live in Florida and FYI people don't let their snakes loose. The Everglades houses millions of snakes, alligators, and lizards in their NATURAL habitat.

I wouldn't blame you. There has been some cases in Africa in which pythons have actually swallowed small children.

Florida has a delicate ecosystem. A python is easily top or second in the food chain. The species is thriving in Florida, but it is causing other species to go extinct. It's like an all you can eat buffet for them. They necropsy was to figure out what the snake had eaten, plus there was no way to move the snake without it escaping. It is an invasive species destroying an ecosystem, there are laws regarding their handling. Either capture or kill it, it can't be left in the wilds of Florida.
