@purplewaffles32 You should have caught em in their original lineup. Their stage presence and energy was INSANE. They took the stage and everybody was either jumping or getting whiplash.

@deckarate That's probably because you never listened to skillet when they first formed in 96. I played the album so much it began to SKIP so I bought another.
I of course assume this information about you.
Skillet has of course gone through major band line up changes and technological changes.
Remember this was recorded in 95 brah. Right about the time grunge and post grunge was it on a STICK.
John Cooper is the only remaining ORIGINAL band member from 96.

The song correlates with Joseph's coat of colors (Hebrews). If you dissect the lyrics you'll find they have much depth and meaning.
All our righteous acts are as dirty rags. For man cannot enter the gates of Heaven through righteous acts but by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ alone.
For a man to say that he can achieve Heaven by himself, and that he is too good for our Lord and Savior's death, which has payed for our sins, this man is bound for Hell. Accept freely the gift given to you.

I agree invincible. I am not a big fan of their older songs but love almost all of their new ones on their recent albums
All of our good deeds are fithly rags in God's sight, due to our impenitrable sin. However, God can clense us of our sin. "By grace are we saved, not good deeds, lest any man should boast."
