Miyazaki Cassette No. 01 - Once Again

"MIYAZAKI CASSETTE" grants perspective on an American exchange student to Miyazaki, Japan in hopes of gaining a stronger perspective on life abroad. I record my life around Japan and the Miyazaki area whilst attending the University of Miyazaki from October 1st 2011 through September 30th 2012.

I depart from America Wednesday afternoon only to arrive in Japan early Friday morning. Immediately after arriving I am approached by faculty who help me meet my assigned tutor and other students to take care of preliminary paperwork around town. I witness the state of the room I am moving into and recollect my thoughts later that same evening in a guest house provided by the University while I await the next morning.
