Simone's voice doesn't have the power of Floor's, but find a good audio-quality video of Epica live that doesn't distort sound (or HELL, the Classical Conspiracy) and you have to be pretty biased/jealous to still say that Simone doesn't have a beautiful singing voice.

Simone and Floor are both lovely people. I can't believe you all would compare the two. That's like comparing Sharon den Adel to both of them. Technique comes with age and Simone is only a mere 23 now. If you don't like her then fine, but don't compare her to Floor or anyone else for that matter. She's a very considerate and caring person in real life and you all just need to lay off.

after forever isn't way bigger than Epica. I really, really, really doubt they are even bigger. a29105's comment about mainstream look needed is total bullshit. I think Simone is one of the hottest girls in the world, yes. But I started to listen Epica because it SOUNDS good, not because it LOOKS good. that's just pathetic. Difference between Simone and Floor is, that Simone is a lot softer when Floor's voice is is very, very strong. They're a bit different and I love both.
