  • It could be me, but I could swear I hear a little (very minor) sibilance on this recording. It isn't bad, but it sounds like either the pressing is slightly off or the cartridge alignment is slightly off. I've heard some claims that some of the AT carts above the AT120E are known for this, so maybe that's what it is?

  • @xargos If by sibilance you mean splattering "s" sounds on the vocals I know what you are talking about. I seem to hear that on cds too, if I think about it too much. The cartridge was still pretty new in this video. It mellows out a bit more over time. I also had the stylus replaced since this was made. This is an awesome cartridge. Very spacious. No inner groove distortion either. I like the AT95E and I'm gonna try a 120E also one of my tables. This though is the best cartridge I've ever had.

  • 'One of these surely will screen out the sorrow, but where are you tomorrow"?

I don't realize how much I miss hearing these songs until I hear them again nowadays from start to finish. This one sounds really good. Great choice my friend~

  • @Paneeks1960 I make batches of 8 or 9 of these vids at a time and I just pick whatever I think would be cool to have up. A lot of 'em get blocked. I've never had this album until less than a year ago. I always had the greatest hits one which has two tracks off this Album. I never realized how good it is. This whole album is amazing and the production on it is just unreal. Thank you. Cheers my friend! :)

  • Only curious, who printed this copy? RCA printed mine.

  • @SlimeAmTheBest ABC Records 1977.

  • From one Audiophile Geek to another, "Brilliant!"

  • @WOBOcomeBACK brings back memories, we played "Josie" in our HS Jazz band.

  • UPTOWN, BABY!!!

  • @PClaytonHuggins me too. sounded awesome then on a Technics receiver and turntable.

  • I have Aja on vinyl and on CD. The vinyl blows the CD away. The drums sound so much more present and the vocals just pop out. You can just *hear more* on vinyl. The CD sounds so flat and lifeless compared to the vinyl.

  • nice nice, THANKS!

  • I have this on vinyl, one of the first albums I bought. Still sounds great after all these years.

  • We're playing this song in our schools jazz ensemble. I love it!
