Running positive commercials has nothing to do with pointing out bad ideas of your opponent during a debate.
I see no parallel at all.

Norm is a politician.

Hey Al! i was at that debate! I go to this school! I was doing a skit for drama class the day before and i sat at that table right where you are!
-
Apparently, Norm talks the talk better than he walks the walk.

Great ad! This is a great way to get the message across! Franken '08!

How could you guys not vote for Franken?
He's smarter than most people in Congress, and he's actually a human being with depth and an interesting mind!
How many people in Congress had public fame before being there? How many disdain power?
If I were in Minn, I'd vote for him in a second. God, we could use someone with a sense of humor (which you need the sharpest mind for) who isn't interested in the power or fame. This is coming from a D.C. resident who works in the political/govt machine.

I think "Mr. Franken" will actually work for Minnesota families, while Norm ONLY cares about his political/lobbying career. It's so obvious to me.
