The extreme weather of climate change hits Hawaii.
May 2nd 2011. Water spouts, heavy rain and thousands of lightning strikes hit Honolulu Hawaii.Sheet and fork lightning continuously lit up the night sky over Manoa Valley giving all a light show to remember.
Here is a small sampling during the peak period around sunset.
I counted about 80 flashes before ending with the fork lightning replay in slow motion.

  • I'm finding myself drawn to seeing monsoon season firsthand lately. This video just makes me want to see it more. But its hard to justify the $ to travel and then be forced indoors for most of it. Ah well. Someday. Thanks for posting.
