Any advice for a 19 year old that wants to start out glass blowing. I've been looking at people work with glass for a good while and I've decided to try it out. (parents aren't fond of that one xD) I live near b'ham al also.

@TimiaGlass Can you give the make and model of the torch you're using? Is this torch good for use with 3mm rod as well as the larger guages? Thanks for the excellent video!

@smithceable This torch is a Nortel Midrange Plus. It has a minor burner on top and a midrange on bottom. The minor would work 3mm to 10 mm rod and the midrange would work rod up 25 mm. I have heard of issues with the new Nortel torches. They may have them worked out now. I might sell mine if you are interested.
