@g:That's not your complete point: Many'd agree if you left it at that, & no one would argue w/your right to that opinion, but I doubt any other Heifetz fans avoid other great works as you claim to: 1/To -know- who (you think) is "greatest", you must listen to -all- the greats. 2/To insult / ignore a great piece because it happened to not be recorded by your favorite is to deprive yourself that great work. 3/Every great has unique virtues, all of which, but for Heifetz's, you've never enjoyed.
