I am a senior in college -with a PTC (non-traditional, advanced night classes). I hate that I have to stop a couple of blocks away from campus to "dis-arm" and put my gun into federal "transport mode". Then after class I get my vehicle off property, reload and re-holster. Even worse is that I could possibly(?) be expelled if it were discovered I have an unloaded, secured firearm in my car. It's silly, I'm just as likely to be in danger in the bubble of a school campus as I am anywhere else :-(
We just went on vacation and did our best to avoid the state of IL for this reason alone. We wanted to spend the weekend in Chicago but instead went to St Louis. I try to never spend the night in IL and try not to even buy gas there or even get out of the car.
There's to many R eno's in my movie today that I have to let leave town on my stolen horse. How many more sunsets before we run out the Gangs. How much more proof do we need till you see what part of the budget isn't adding up this year?
By the way, great speaker, I would have like to see a School banner in the background though. Preferably Cali-forn-I-Am. Jerk-Lee?
As much as I love the NRA, I am opposed to conceal permits, law abiding Citizens have a Right to conceal and can only be deprived of that Right through 5th Amendment Due Process...
A permit is issued for a privilege, Rights and privileges are opposites and concealing a firearm is a matter of Right!
