  • Beyond Koolhass......

  • judging everything by just looking at forms is too one sided,i don't understand why most people are too ignorant of what true architecture is,and keep pushing this idea

  • Watch some other interviews with him... he's brilliant. this is no exception. Maybe if you knew anything about architecture you'd know that to actually make a living and get recognised, you have to be "out there" doing things other people aren't doing, and if you need to stand up for what you believe in and push for your design to go ahead as true to your concept as possible, then you have to do it. And necessarily risk getting called arrogant by the ignorant...

  • Lots of bla-bla-bla but at the end Koolhass is dangerous, I hope he never builds anything in a city that I like. His buildings look like mutant amorphous structures, that look like Godzilla should come and destroy them any minute (hopefully he does). Someone should stand up and tell him face to face to this arrogant, that his buildings are simply put UGLY Is this another case of the Emperors new clothes tale???

  • hey genius george!....

why dont put up something from your NGO garage-garbage!..it wud do gud to all the people of the earth then.....our design savior!!..

pl dont put crap on public websites....i'll tell u why.....

it exposes, to the rest of the us morons!, ur own bloody, 'dogma-laden' ignorance!!!.......

  • "...for Tyrants...?!" it is a pity that Beijing government gave 800 millions dollars for this jerk to waste with thousands of tons of steel to correct a design error! As the genius Frank Lloyd Wright got famous for the Emperial Hotel that survived the the severe earthqute! Wright designed a Chinese symmetrical building for Japan, but what does this Dutchman cared? He stole the design from Peter Eisenman and put it here! I worried that this would not take an earthquake! --dancewu(dot)net
