This may have been the last time he got to play. He always felt at home here at my house with my wife and children. And because my studio is in my basement I guess it really made him feel at home. His studio basement is where I met him and we hit it off right from the start. Not many can say they had DJ Camacho playing at a house party in the basement. He would have said shut up Aziz and get me some murder burgers I don't play for free. But we were all friends here and he loved being around real people. He was really sick that night and needed our help just to move around, but we loved him and would have done anything for him. I could stand to watch my friend be taken like this it hurt me to the core. I am happy that his pain is gone, but wish he were still here, I will remember all the things you told me. From the weak hand shakes, to just play the damn music. He always said forget the VIP room stay on the floor with the people who came to see you play. And that worked the people just loved to be around Camacho. If ever there was a president of house music, shaking hands, kissing babies, and taking pictures to win the hearts of the people then Camacho was that man. Love you Mach!
