@nick26695 once upon a time people didnt do backflips just as a warm up thing... there was actually a time that this was considered impossible. and that time wasnt all that long ago. ten years ago people would never even think about doing this other than in crazy fantasies that they would never attempt. this was the first time ever that anybody did two backflips on consecutive ramps (back to back backflips) and it was a HUGE deal. today's equivalent: back to back double backflip variations.

I was in the crowd. At the time, this was the best trick a rider could pull off. It really is amazing how much the sport has evolved over the last decade or so.
