The Blind Willie McTell Blues Fesitval is held in this area (Augusta, GA) but mostly bands perform rather than country blues singers.

Have you ever heard the original? (Mississippi Blues by Willie Brown) Have you ever heard the music of the guys from the area of the Yazoo delta? Delta guys didn't play alternating bass piano sounding styles. The true Delta blues may be a little harsh for your ear.

The song is Mississippi Delta Blues. True "delta" only exists in museums, this is music for now inspired by delta blues.
