Last time I comment...promise, but to all those wanting to see it:
I have a Netflix account, and, out of curiosity, I looked this movie up (they tend to have rare films, such as Zulu Dawn and Waterloo). To my surprise, it's available on instant watch!!!

You don't usually see authentic German Tanks in war movies...of course, that wasn't an authentic Russian tank. Looked like a Centurian? Feel free to correct me.

You have piqued my interest!

i'll check it out~!

The original title was THE LAST ESCAPE. It was also released as OSS and FREEDOM RUN.

It's available on DVD in Japan. It's a region-free version, so it will play anywhere in the world. You can usually find it for sale on EBAY.

I agree on Whitman. He had a voice simular to David Jansen; a smokers voice I would guess. He also starred in a thriller in Africa? This film was made in the 60's and a group of people were stranded in a area controlled by all things, Baboons. If anyone knows the title, please drop a message here. Thanks!

It was called "Sands Of The Kalahari" and was produced by Stanley Baker, who costared with Whitman and Susanna York. Their plane crashed in the desert and they struggled for survival. Sort of the same thing as "Flight Of The Phoenix", but with a woman and more violence.
