The Yang 24 Form is one of the most popular Tai Chi forms. Yang is the most appropriate Tai Chi style for beginners, although some of the forms in the 24 can be physically challenging. Snake creeps down, a deep squat then reverse in direction, and Heel Kick, a high, slow kicking movement, can require many years to master, although these forms can be modified for someone with less balance and flexibility than a Tai Chi master. This form is performed by Grandmaster Yong So of http://TaiChi-Interactive.com.

  • You shouldn't be concerned. Master So has had almost 60 years of practice on these moves.

  • nice... i wish my snake creeps down would go down that low, but for some reason i can't.

  • @lonejafa,

The best angle to learn is face-to-face angle. The master should perform the REVERSE angle. Standing behind the master is only good 80% of the times, missing the fine details of the hand movements because being blocked by the body. Reverse Angle is the best angle.

  • very nice

  • Thanks for the kind remarks. I agree that being behind the master is the best advantage point to learn any form. It is sometimes a challenge to accomplish this, as the twenty four form goes in four different directions. Luckily, most of the time, the student is facing the master's back.

  • thanks for posting this. The best angle to learn from is behind the Master

  • Very nice and soothing great music choice
