The film was shot on the travelator at Waterloo Underground Station. The underscored music for this film is performed entirely by singing buskers. Those interviewed in the film are all genuine buskers talking about their experiences. The film includes two gentlemen with OBEs. Joe Newman, at 91, is the oldest busker in the world - he busks outside Fortnam and Masons for Chelsea War Widows. The Rev Colin Slee found us whilst we were filming the Finale and complained vociferously about buskers. We thought it was only fair to let him have his say!
The film features many of the buskers who are featured in the other films in the suite.
I've seen that "non-descript Eastern European" on the tube sooo many times! Once, when he was changing carriages at a stop, a TfL staff saw him and took him to the police!
