Ducks First Time To Pond

The Mallard ducks have grown enough to try the pond. We are also trying to train our other pets to be nice and watch over them and not hurt them, of course! Sampson used to herd our last set of ducks around and protect them. Keep watching these vids as you never know when the cat or dog may slip up and go with their instincts and grub... Just kidding!

We have ONE little duckling that looks like this. So, do they not like water until a certain age??? This one we have seems to HATE water but she's only a couple weeks old. How are they all now?

Ours are doing good. They usually like water. For awhile there was some sort of animal or turtle in our pond and our ducks wouldn't go close to it. It is gone now and they love to swim and sun.
