Acetal Resin is an exceptional product with many great dental applications. Simply said, this product permanently replaces chrome clasps with a colored, ultra-retentive, flexible clasp. Resin clasps engage the first third (or origin) of the undercut rather than the terminal third as in metal clasps allowing three to four times the retention of metal. The clasp can then be placed more gingival, increasing it's aesthetic appeal beyond the obvious colored properties.
